Madonna And Justin Bieber Play 'Never Have I Ever' Game On Ellen

Madonna And Justin Bieber Play 'Never Have I Ever' Game On Ellen

Madonna, Ellen DeGeneres and Justin Bieber squared off in a game of "Never Have I Ever" on a recent episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Getting things started, all three coped to having fooled around in a bathroom during a party, while Bieber was the only one to deny ever having phone sex. Madonna and Bieber also said "I Have" to dating a person and their sibling, fooling around while someone else was in the room and forgetting the name of the person they were hooking up with.
When the game was nearing its end, Madonna tried to keep it alive for one last scenario, stating, "Never have I ever had sex with more than two different people in one day." She was the only one to hold up "I Have."

Madonna and Ellen DeGeneres team up for ‘Dress You Up’

Madonna loves singing in the bathroom too. The singer participated in Bathroom Concert Series in the Friday, March 20 episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as her week-long residency on the talk show came to an end.

She was joined by the show’s host Ellen DeGeneres to perform her 1985 hit “Dress You Up” during the segment. Donning matching white robes, they’re first seen sitting in the bathroom holding microphones while caressing each others as they sang and gave cheeky responses to the songs’ lyrics.
DeGeneres then took various items out of a basket near her, including a pair of over-sized glasses for herself and a leopard print cowboy hat for Madonna. The diva eventually ditched her robe and revealed a heart-printed dress. She also played a little bit of air guitar while DeGeneres playfully hit her with a black whip.
Madonna’s residency on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was meant to promote her newest album “Rebel Heart”, which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 earlier this week. In addition to performing, she did a candid interview and played “Never Have I Ever” with Justin Bieber during her appearance on the show.

Madonna values kids' opinions

Madonna always ''follows the opinion'' of her children.
The 56-year-old singer - who has daughters Lourdes, 18 and Mercy, nine, and sons Rocco, 14, and David, nine - plays her new music to her kids and knows they will always be honest enough to tell her if they don't like something.
She said: ''I have asked their opinion. I always do it. They were with me a lot in the studio. I rely on their taste. I follow their opinion.
''They have good taste! But it doesn't mean they like every song. They have strong opinions.''
Madonna has just released her 13th studio album 'Rebel Heart' and says the title reflects the two different aspects of her personality.
In an interview on Italian TV show 'Che Tempo Che Fa', she said: ''Let me explain the title 'Rebel Heart' because there are two very strong sides of my personality: there's the rebellious side, the provocateur, the worrywart, the fear fighter and there's the romantic side, the one of me that makes me believe in true love. The album is an illustration and an expression of both sides of me.''
Earlier this year, the world was rocked by a terrorist attack on the offices of a satirical Paris newspaper, Charlie Hebdo, and Madonna thinks the tragedy is forcing people to learn to be more tolerant.
She said: ''I think that we always take the freedom for granted, even in America. So, I think what happened in Paris was a big wake-up call for the entire world. It makes us understand that we must be more tolerant one another. We have to try to understand the others and the differences.''

Did Madonna Declare 'Kanye Is the New Madonna'?

madonna rebel heart 2015

Kanye West may have found a kindred spirit in Madonna. The Queen of Pop is singing her Rebel Heart collaborator's praises in a new interview, ahead of the album's stateside release.
"Kanye is the new Madonna," she told the Daily News about the rapper. "Kanye is the black Madonna."

West worked with Madonna on several tracks, producing "Illuminati" on the forthcoming release. And, she added, that their ability to be provacative is something they both share. "We know, and recognize, that we have that in common," she said. "We're comrades in the envelope-pushing genre."
While Madonna rarely comes off as vulnerable in public, she noted that there are times when all the attention and speculation gets to her. "I'm only human," she said. "I'd like to get to the point where nothing can shake me. Sometimes I'm there, sometimes I'm not."
For the album, out Tuesday (March 10), the singer looked at her three-decade career to find inspiration for what would be Rebel Heart's final product.

"There's a lot of reminiscing on this album," she said. "I've been doing what I've been doing for over three decades, so in many ways I feel like a survivor. I see that many of my peers, and friends, and people I collaborated with are no longer with us. That gave me pause. I said, 'Wow, I can't believe I made it this far.' That was a catalyst for me."
But she not only looked back; she also found inspiration in what her kids listen to, as well as what current chart toppers are releasing when it was time to record Rebel Heart.
"I have a lot of friends who are DJs, and I love going out," she explained. "I work with people who always say, 'Check out this video, check out these artists, this dancer.' Also, I have teenagers. They turn me on to a lot of music. They were a very big part of the choices I made this time, the sounds I gravitated towards."

Madonna blasts her age critics and passes the troublemaker torch to new BFF Kanye West

Many up-and-coming pop tarts have been named heir to Madonna over the years, from Britney Spears to Lady Gaga to Miley Cyrus…and Madonna couldn't agree less.
"Kanye is the new Madonna," she tells the New York Daily News. "Kanye is the black Madonna."
That's high praise indeed for the superstar rapper with whom Madonna collaborated on her just released 13th album, Rebel Heart. As far the 56-year-old pop icon is concerned, the album's title could apply to both her and Kanye, 37.
"We know, and recognize, that we have that in common," she adds. "We're comrades in the envelope-pushing genre."
They've both had very public falls lately – Kanye's at the Grammys and Madonna's at the BRIT Awards. Here are videos of both to refresh your memory.

Yes mom Madonna

Madonna won't say 'no' to her children.
The 'Living for Love' hitmaker - who has four children, Lourdes, 18, Rocco, 14, David, nine and Mercy, eight - would rather advise her kids than give them rules.
Speaking about her eldest daughter, she said: ''I'm not a fan of taking drugs, but I'm not gonna tell my daughter not to do things. I'm just telling her to be careful.
''[I tell her] never take a drink that you haven't seen somebody pour in front of you. Don't mix alcohol. Your basics, like be safe, do everything in moderation. That's it. That's all I can do.''
The 56-year-old star also believes it is important not to be ''judgemental'' of her children because she feels it is discouraging for them.
When asked if she talks about sex with her children, she told Access Hollywood: ''It's just a fact of life isn't it? Somehow, it's gonna happen sometime. It happened to you, so it's gonna happen to [Lourdes].
''All you can do is [stress] safe sex. Have discussions about it and encourage her to be open with you about it and not judgmental.
''Because then they won't feel like they can come to you and talk to you - ask you for your advice and stuff.''

So Is It Love Or Hate From The Critics For Madonna's 'Rebel Heart'?

After leaked demos, Instagram controversy and a fall inducing wardrobe malfunction Madonna is finally able to let her music do the talking as Rebel Heart gets its long awaited release. With over 30 years in the music industry and 13 albums under her belt, Madonna surely shouldn’t have much to prove, except, of course that she’s still relevant.
MadonnaRebel Heart is Madonna's 13th studio album
With 19 tracks Rebel Heart is by far Madonna’s longest offering and the album also features a number of big names in the producer’s chair from Kanye West to DJ Diplo.
Writing in Rolling Stone, Caryn Ganz describes Rebel Heart as “a long, passionate, self-referential meditation on losing love and finding purpose in chilling times,” giving the album 3.5 stars out of five.

But while some might wondering why Madonna felt 19 tracks was necessary, The Guardian's Alexis Petridis offers an explanation, calling Rebel Heart “essentially two separate albums”. “One is wistful and thick with reflections on failed love affairs and intimations of self-doubt,” Petridis writes. “The other offers dirty talk and defiant I’m-still-here snarls set to EDM-inspired productions, frequently the handiwork of Diplo.”
The New York Daily News’ Jim Farber feels Rebel Heart contains “some of the most finely structured pop melodies of Madonna’s 32-year career.” Adding that “the slam-dunk opener, ‘Living for Love’, stands with her great gospel-soul songs of the past: ‘Like a Prayer’ and ‘Express Yourself’. Of the ballads, ‘Ghosttown’ rates with her best: ‘Live to Tell and ‘Crazy for You’.”

“Madonna has never gotten the credit she deserves as a musician, or as an album artist,” writes Billboard’s Joe Levy. "Her essential interests are unchanging -- dancefloor ecstasy, European balladry, 1960s pop classicism -- but her expression of them finds new articulations. Rebel Heart has 14 producers working in seven different teams and still it sounds exactly like a Madonna album.”
So at 56 years old and after 30 years in the music industry and with 13 albums under her belt, is Madonna still relevant? In a word, yes and Rebel Heart should be all the proof we need.
