Madonna: 'Europe Is Becoming More Like Nazi Germany'

Madonna has risked upsetting her European fans by comparing many mainland countries to Nazi Germany.
The pop superstar, who was promoting her new album Rebel Heart in a Bbc interview, revealed she's concerned about the future of France and other nations.
The 56 year old said, "(Album song) Ghosttown is like, for me, a kind of foreshadowing of two people living, like, the only lovers left alive in a post-apocalyptic world. I feel like that's where we're heading for if we continue to behave the way we behave, to treat one another the way we're treating one another, to maintain this level of intolerance and discriminatory prejudice... hateful behaviour towards other human beings who are different than you are.
"France was once a country that accepted people of colour. It was once a place that artists escaped to, whether it was Josephine Baker or Charlie Parker or writers, painters, whatever. It was a country that embraced everyone and that encouraged freedom in every way, shape, or form - freedom of expression, artistic freedom, for example.
"Now, it's completely gone... It's like we're living in a crazy time. It feels like, you know, Nazi Germany. All of these people... the intolerance, the level of intolerance that's going on is really scary.
"It's not just happening in France, it's all over Europe, but it's specifically in France. Anti-Semitism, I think, is at an all-time high, people are becoming, behaving, and reacting in extremely fearful ways, so it's scary."
Her comments come a month after the horror of the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack in Paris, where gunmen shot and killed 12 people at the publication's headquarters over cartoon depictions of the prophet Muhammad.
At the time, Madonna took to Instagram and wrote, "These are very scary times we are living in. Ignorance breeds Intolerance and fear. We can only fight darkness with light! We are all Charlie!"

Madonna Album Hacker Formally Indicted By Israeli Court

Rebel Heart' was leaked by an Israeli hacker at the end of 2014, prompting Madonna to bring forward the release and formally put the leaked tracks for purchase on iTunes.

After what’s been a pretty bad week for Madonna with that on-stage fall at the Brit Awards, there’s some good news at last. The Israeli man suspected of leaking tracks from her forthcoming album Rebel Heart, having hacked her computer, has been formally indicted.
39 year old Adi Lederman was arrested five weeks ago, and has now been officially charged by Israel’s magistrate courts on four counts of computer hacking and leaking unreleased music. The court documents were originally obtained by The Hollywood Reporter show the individual charges to be computer trespassing, prohibited secret monitoring and additional computer trespassing, copyright Infringement and obstructing an investigation.
Madonna
Madonna, performing at the Brit Awards above, had her new album leaked by an Israeli hacker
Lederman was able to do this by hacking the private cloud accounts of three people close to the recording of the album – Sara Zambreno, Angie Teo and Kevin Antunes – as well as her manager Guy Oseary’s e-mail account. He then sold the files to an unspecified person.

The January 21st arrest was precipitated by a month-long investigation by a private detection company in Israel at the behest of Oseary, and ultimately involved the FBI-Israeli collaboration agency Lahav 433’s cybercrime unit.
The original leak caused Madonna to release six of the Rebel Heart tracks through iTunes to combat it. Upon Lederman’s arrest last month, she said: “Like any citizen, I have the right to privacy. This invasion into my life — creatively, professionally and personally — remains a deeply devastating and hurtful experience, as it must be for all artists who are victims of this type of crime.”
No trial date has been set, but according to Israeli legal experts Lederman faces up to five years behind bars if found guilty.
The official release date of Rebel Heart is March 6th.

Madonna to miss Oscars party

Madonna is set to miss her annual post-Oscars party.
The 'Material Girl' hitmaker's celebratory event, which she throws alongside her manager Guy Oseary, will still go ahead after this year's Academy Awards - which take place on Sunday (22.02.15) - but she will not be in attendance.
A former guest said: ''People go to the Vanity Fair party to be photographed - then they go to Madonna's to party in private.''
Last year, guests included the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and whilst it may be Hollywood's hottest celebration, some people are less than happy about the party's exclusivity.
A source added to the New York Post's Page Six column: ''Madonna's managed to usurp the Oscars, and she's not from the film business.
''Some people are annoyed that her party has skimmed the most famous people from the top.''
Meanwhile, the 56-year-old singer is set to travel to the UK to perform at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday (25.02.15) as well as promoting her upcoming album in the country.
A representative for the star said: ''Madonna has been committed to performing on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' as well as various other promotion for months.
''Any Madonna performance naturally requires a lot of rehearsal - like Tina Turner says, 'We never do nothin' nice and easy.'
''I'm told that there will be as many stars as ever at mega manager [Guy's] party.''

Madonna to miss her annual Oscars party

Madonna will miss her own post-Oscars party.
The 'Living for Love' hitmaker is reportedly likely to ditch her own annual post-Academy Award show celebration - thrown alongside her manager Guy Oseary - in favour of rehearsing for the BRIT Awards 2015, which take place in London next Wednesday (25.02.15).
A former guest shared: ''People go to the Vanity Fair party to be photographed - then they go to Madonna's to party in private.''
The party - that last year welcomed the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - may be Hollywood's hottest celebration but some people are ''annoyed'' that her party is so exclusive.
A source added to the New York Post's Page Six column: ''Madonna's managed to usurp the Oscars, and she's not from the film business.
''Some people are annoyed that her party has skimmed the most famous people from the top.''
Meanwhile, the next few weeks will see the 56-year-old singer begin her promotion for her upcoming album and her representative has cited this as the reason for missing her own party.
They said: ''Madonna has been committed to performing on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' as well as various other promotion for months.
''Any Madonna performance naturally requires a lot of rehearsal - like Tina Turner says, 'We never do nothin' nice and easy.'
''I'm told that there will be as many stars as ever at mega manager [Guy's] party.''

Madonna reviews 50 Shades: 'Hmmm, a lot of spanking'

Pop music’s preeminent sex icon of the ’80s isn’t a huge fan of Fifty Shades of Grey.
In a wide-ranging Q&A with Billboard, Madonna dished on myriad topics, from her forthcoming album Rebel Heart (out March 6), to her relationship with religion; it’s all worth a read. The 56-year-old was also asked if she’s read E L James’ erotic novel—color her unimpressed.
“It’s pulp fiction. It’s not very sexy, maybe for someone who has never had sex before,” she said. “I kept waiting for something exciting and crazy to happen in that red room thing, and I was like, ‘Hmm, a lot of spanking.’ “
Madonna continues her answer with one particular hang-up that isn’t quite fit to print.
Off that tangent, the singer was asked if her views on sex have changed the last quarter of a century: “Absolutely not. Nope. Sex is a wonderful, necessary part of life.”

Madonna throws shade at 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and talks hanging out with Pope

Was it good for you, Madonna? Apparently not! The pop icon and matador-in-training told Billboard on Feb. 13 that she won't be seeing the record-breaking erotica film Fifty Shades of Grey after finding the book to be a total snooze-fest. The Material Girl stated that she "...kept waiting for something to happen..." besides "spanking" while leafing through the international bestseller written by horny Twilight fan, E.L. James.
"I kept waiting for something exciting and crazy to happen in that red room thing, and I was like, 'Hmm, a lot of spanking," Madonna stated of her reaction to the international bestseller by E.L. James.

During the interview, Madonna boasted of her history as a sexual icon and threw some shade at James by saying that the book might be appealing to someone that has, like, not even given up their V card yet, but people with any sexual prowess whatsoever would totally be thinking, "Um, when are Anastasia and Christian gonna start getting weird? I've been reading upwards of 500 pages and so far it's all garbage!" Madonna went on to allege that the story was "unrealistic" due to Christian's...er...generosity toward Anastasia.
"I also thought [while reading the novel], 'This is so unrealistic because no guy goes down on a girl that much.'" Gee, thanks for crushing the dreams of women everywhere, Madge.
Besides dismantling sexual fantasies for Fifty Shades fans, Madonna took the opportunity during the interview to talk about the Catholic church and how she and the Pope Francis should totally get together for some pillow talk in the near future. Due to the Pope's progressive stances on numerous issues, the Living for Love singer states that she'd feel comfortable enough to chat about sex with the bishop.
"I...feel like this new pope is kind of groovy," she stated. "And I think we might be able to get together and chat about sex."
No word from the Pope on whether he'd be down to meet Madge for cosmos, but I hear he's a pretty busy guy. Hopefully he'll send a tweet with his RSVP before the weekend is done.

Madonna Likes the Word "Bitch," Finds Fifty Shades Unrealistic

Madonna Likes the Word "Bitch," Finds Fifty Shades UnrealisticĀ

In case you haven't read Billboard's interview with Madonna, then you should do so immediately. It's really a study in Madonna's worn performance of "Madonna." During the interview Madonna unfolds "herself on a white leather horseshoe-shaped couch," is "trailed by a servant," and decides that the interview should really be a drinking game.
While her servant pours tequila out of "an old-timey glass bottle with a black ribbon tied around the neck," Madonna offers her insight into strong women, the ever-present "word police," and cultural touchstones like Fifty Shades of Grey

Madonna would wed again

The 'Hung Up' hitmaker - who was previously wed to actor Sean Penn for four years until 1989 and Guy Ritchie from 2002 to 2008 - would consider tying the knot for the third time if the ''right'' guy came along.
Asked if she would marry again, she said: ''Again? For a third time? I'm not gonna say never, no. Maybe. If the right [guy] came along.''
Madonna - who has four children, Lourdes, 18, Rocco, 14, David and Mercy, both nine - is unlikely to be marrying any time soon as she doesn't have a ''steady dude'' in her life.
Asked by KIIS FM DJ Ryan Seacrest if there is a man in her life, she said: Not really, no. Not a special, you know. Not a steady dude. I'm waiting for you Ryan, it's been a long wait, I can't shut it down.''
The 'Like A Virgin' hitmaker went on to praise the ''smart and good looking'' presenter before asking if he could dance.
Ryan replied: ''I could learn, you could inspire me to move better...
I'd be intimidated by you.''
Madonna was surprised by the 40-year-old star's admission and insisted she isn't particularly intimidating ''off-air''.
She said: ''Would you? You're not intimidated by me on the red carpet. The off-air me is very down-to-earth.''

Madonna Is Matador Surrounded By Sexy Horned Hunks In “Living For Love

Madonna Living For Love

Madonna has debuted her “Living For Love” music video. It features the pop star in a matador costume, surrounded by sexy minotaurs (or some kind of man-bull hybrid). There’s the slithering and grinding and gyrating you’ve come to expect in Madonna videos. Watch it below!
The video had originally premiered on Snapchat. Now it’s on YouTube, courtesy of Vevo. The bullfighting theme in the clip calls to mind Madonna’s 1990s video for “Take A Bow,” but is more intense, as signaled by the concluding Friedrich Nietzsche quote: “Man is the cruelest animal. At tragedies, bullfights and crucifixions he has felt best on earth; and when he invented hell for himself that was his very heaven.” That’s right. Come for the sexy masked and horned hunks. Stay for the Nietzsche.
Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen (known as “J.A.C.K.”) directed the video. “Living For Love” is the first track from Madonna’s upcoming Rebel Heart album, and one of a number of songs that has been officially released following a December leak. Madonna is expected to perform at this weekend’s Grammy Awards. Gossip Cop will have full coverage. Until then, check out the “Living For Love” music video below, and tell us what you think.

Madonna forgets recording experiences

Madonna

Madonna "can't remember" making all her records.
The 56-year-old singer is preparing to release her 13th studio album, 'Rebel Heart', and admits she has released so many LPs throughout her illustrious career she cannot recall the creative process she went through to make all her albums.
She said: "I cannot remember every record-making experience. It feels like there's been too many of them.
"But this ['Rebel Heart'] has been really, really intense ... complicated. Just because there are so many people involved.
"It's like a train that keeps picking up people. And every time someone gets on the train, they add another flavour.
"Then I have to step back and see, OK, how does this all fit into the big picture? So it does seem endless."
But the 'Papa Don't Preach' hitmaker has no problem recalling her fourth studio album 'Like A Prayer', which came with a cover scented with patchouli oils to simulate church incense, because she now "cannot stand" the aroma of the plant species.
She added in an interview with Mojo magazine: "Terrible, terrible perfume. I can't stand it. I don't [like it] any more. It's a tree hugger's smell."
